Extreme Blue Thunder

This weekend we went to the Blue Angels Air Show in Idaho Falls. It was so awesome!! There were several different airplane shows leading up to the Blue Angels show. We really enjoyed the "Dog Fight" with the Mig Fury Fighters and the Wing Walking stunts of the Franklin Flying Circus. Even though the weather was scorching hot, we had such a fun time with the roaring fly-bys and the daring air-o-batics had us on the edge of our seats. Dad Ahlstrom somehow snoozed through the F16's 700 mph fly by. Finally on the last fly by and breaking the sound barier, the noise of the aircraft streaking through the air finally woke him up. So after an EXTREME show and, some Extreme sunburns, we wrapped up the day with some famously refreshing apricot ice cream. The perfect end to a perfect show!!
